UNISONIC have signed a record contract with earMUSIC / Edel most recently. “IGNITION“, the mini album to herald the major longplay output in March, will feature the band’s self titled anthem “Unisonic“, and the brand new song “My Sanctuary” from the album, a demo version of the song“Souls Alive” and the Helloween classic “I Want Out” – a live rarity, performed by the band at Loudpark Festival in Japan October 2011.

Unisonic 2011

UNISONIC´s music is very versatile and shows a broad approach to heavy rock, but never misses the power and strong, sticking melodies that made all the members famous in the metal scene in the first place. Says singer Michael Kiske“It feels great to finally bring the band to the studio and record the songs we´ve been working on for some time. We took our time to grow as a real band, but it definitely was worth it and we are very proud of the result!
Bassist/producer Dennis Ward adds: “We have a bunch of very strong songs and can´t wait until people can hear them. Everyone in the band is looking very positive into the future.”

Out of the album “Kiske Somerville” released September 24th.

Mat Sinners project with singer Michael Kiske and Amanda Somerville will be released through Frontiers on September 24th. The first single “Silence” will be out on August 20th. More info to follow.

Today was the first festival show for Unisonic. At the Sweden Rock Festival it was so stormy that the technic tower broke down. Fortunately nobody got hurt. This happened when the crowd was already waiting in front of the Rock Stage for Unisonic to play. The swedish press reported about this (commendation for non swedish speakers: google translator).

When everything was under control again, Unisonic could start to rock the stage!

The project around Mat Sinner has Amanda Somerville and Michael Kiske on vocals. Two weeks ago they had a video shoot in Nürnberg/Germany. Amanda uploaded a funny video clip on youtube. This is some kind of “Making of”. Enjoy!

The year is almost over. What happened? Did it all come out like it was expected? I’m trying to catch my thoughts from the beginning. I had the feeling that it will be a good year for SUEFISH promotion and what can I say? It definitely was a good year. We had lots of plans and visions and we still have.

The first months in 2009 were under the star “Unplugged”. ELEVATE were on the road and we had some wonderful and funny experiences that we could carry. April was almost dipped in summer. Elevate had some gigs in northern Germany and I remember the trips we did in T-Shirts! In May they released the single “Time Will Fly” and the feedback was brilliant! The song jumped immediately to number 1 at the SWR3 charts and the video clip (see category “videos”) was “Video of the month” at C-Tube. Due to this, an article in the magazine “Soundcheck” was published in November. The second part of the year, the guys mainly spent their time in the studio, recording new songs for the next album. I’m very positive about this and can’t wait for the release. For me personally I can close this year with the last show in Ludwigsburg at the Rockfabrik (20.12.2009).

Place Vendôme, the project around singer Michael Kiske, released their second album and a video clip for the song “My Guardian Angel” (see category “videos”). Also Michael did some vocals on different projects again. Later on, he talked to Dennis and Kosta – his mates from Place Vendôme – about the idea creating an own band (PV was just seen as a project). They contacted the guitar player Mandy Meyer and realized this idea. The result was UNISONIC. That’s now the name of Michaels new band. In 2010 you can expect their debut album. And finally (his fans were waiting almost 17 years for this moment) Michael will be back on stage! First dates are confirmed and more will follow (see page “Tourdates”).

Milan Polak also released his second full-vocal album called “Murphy’s Law” and also published a video clip to the song “Torn” (see “Videos”). ML is a great rock album with catchy melodies, amazing guitar riffs (fans were happy to have their “guitar hero” back) and his excellent voice. For the gutitar players: Milan also has his own channel on youtube, including guitar lessons and competitions. For the next album I’m curious to see what comes. Be sure I’ll keep you updated!

PRETTY MAIDS finally started the recordings for another album! So I can also count this to the nice parts of this year, even if they just started. More news from these Danes will sure follow in 2010.

My dear friend Michael Klein was also busy writing and recording new songs. It was a wonderful surprise when he told me that WICKED SENSATION were back! Robert Soeterboek came to Karlsruhe and visited Michael in his studio. When he left, the songs were refined with his distinctive voice. His buddy Dirk Bruinenberg did the drums and Dennis Ward played the bass. Michael did of course all guitars and Bernie was responsible again for keyboards. The new album will be called “Crystallized” and published in 2010.

3 Wishes: Well, what can I say about these guys? SUEFISH promotion started with 3 Wishes years ago and they came along with me from the beginning on. They were now setting up their own studio with all equipment they needed and since then they were somehow buried between these walls. I got the chance to listen to some of the new songs during the development and I’m curious how they will come out in the end. Sounds all promising!!

Now I await the new year and I’m sure it will be at least as exciting as 2009 was. I’ll keep you updated!

To all my friends (not only the ones mentioned above) and all of you out there: Have a good start for 2010 and always try to think positive!

With all heart for music & art,
Jutta aka Suefish

A new band is about to enter the rock world: UNISONIC marks the fusion of exceptional vocalist Michael Kiske (ex-Helloween) with Dennis Ward (bass) and Kosta Zafiriou (drums) of Germany..s Pink Cream 69. Swiss guitarist Mandy Meyer who is known for his work with Asia, Gotthard and Krokus completes the line-up.

UNISONIC features Michael Kiske joining a real band situation for the first time in almost 16 years: Since his departure from Helloween in late 1993, he participated in various projects and released several solo albums. In the project Place Vendome four years ago he not only recorded with Ward and Zafiriou, he found two musical soul mates as well. After the sequel album of PV, the trio decided to join forces for a new band. Dennis Ward, who had previously produced a record for Krokus, suggested Mandy Meyer as the perfect addition for the vacant job on the guitar.

Sharing the vision of a rock band free from any musical corsets, the foursome already started writing songs for their debut album, which is scheduled for release in late spring of 2010.

Michael Kiske, one of the finest and most unique voices in contemporary rock music, explains his motivation of becoming a part of a band again:
“Since the Place Vendome-productions I was impressed by Dennis Ward’s skills as a songwriter and producer. We were occasionally fooling around since then via email that we should do more together in the future, so the idea came up to do a new band. I was generally getting a bit tired of doing everything on my own for so many years, so it just felt like the right thing to do now. We can all only benefit from working together. No matter how good you are solo, four people will always be better than one I think, if they manage to function together. And a real band is also a very good reason to finally go on tour again – after 17 years I can..t wait to get back on stage and have some fun with the band and the fans!”

In summer 2010, UNISONIC will hit the festival stages all over Europe, further territories will follow the rest of the year, so watch out for dates in your area!
